About the game
Master time. Stop the Ooze. Space Grunts: Chrono Shard is a high-octane blend of tactical depth and arcade energy. With the power of the Chrono Shard, you don't just survive the void, you master it. The Chrono Loop: Use your Shard to rewind the clock. Any items you’ve placed or changes you’ve made to the environment stay exactly where they are for your next attempt. Learn from the past to conquer the future. Rapid-Fire Strategy: Forget slow-paced menus. This is the original Space Grunts speed. Fast-paced, turn-based combat that rewards quick thinking and even quicker trigger fingers. Engaging Crafting System: Take control of your loadout. Find crafting stations to disassemble loot, scavenge resources, and upgrade your weapons into unstoppable tools of destruction. Evolutionary Skill Trees: Shape your playstyle. Invest in three core skill types to unlock specialized sub-classes. Whether you become a Sniper, Assassin, Hitman, Hardened, Elite, Engineer, Gadget, Gearhead, or Veteran, your build defines your edge. Kinetic Combat: Every shot counts. Use unique weapon spread patterns and explosive shockwaves to physically manipulate the battlefield, launching enemies into hazards or clearing your path to the HyperGate. Deep Space Hazards: Deploy into procedurally generated space stations and moon bases. Every mission is a new layout of mysterious sectors and deadly surprises. Secure the Gates A sentient Ooze is devouring the galaxy, jumping through a hijacked network of HyperGates. As part of the Space Grunts’ elite tactical unit, you are dropped into "time bubbles" to shut down the gates and contain the spread. Navigate procedurally generated space stations and moon bases where every mission is a new layout of mysterious sectors and deadly surprises. Loop the timeline, evolve your grunt, and stop the Ooze—at any cost.
